refused to do stuns personally. Instead, a Russian stun-man Marcus Ivanov was called upon to do all of the action scenes in Quantum of Solace:

The 31 years old Russian is the real hero who risked his life for Daniel Craig. This is a scandal indeed and an unheard of situation, for the previous actors who played James Bond before never relied on stun-men to do the risky scenes, which, in essence, are what the James Bond movies are really about. For example, Daniel Craig's predecessors Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery got themselves injured numerous times while doing the dangerous scenes. Unfortunately, Daniel Craig refuses to follow the high standards set by his illustrious and acclaimed predecessors. Moreover, he is also a storyteller. Thus, while promoting the movie he traveled around the world with one of his arms in a cast, claiming that he broke the arm while shooting the movie. However, according to Mr. Craig's managers, he broke his arm while trying to enter his home and accidentally falling down in the process. What a sham!
The Russian government will do all possible and impossible to assure that in the next James Bond movie the 007 super agent is played by Marcus Ivanov, who truly deserves the role.

Quantum of Solace is entertaining at least... a fantastic job with the styling and picture quality, but the movie as a whole could stand to lose six or seven fewer chase scenes
Agree 100%. I also couldn't help noticing that they lost their main sponsor from the 90s: BMW, now the chases are done in Ford automobiles.
Russia to the rescue! Well, I guess it goes to show(again, it seems), Anglos are a bit too timid for challenging acting-so it takes a Russian to step in with the assist!
Porsches, Triumphs, BMWs and the like do far better for the chase scenes than (DOOMED!) F(ix)O(r)R(epair)D(aily) Corp. motorcars-or maybe a motorbike like yours will fit in nicely!
